Before your appointment
Please confirm your appointment when prompted with the text or email from boulevard.
If you or a member of your household has been sick within the last 48 hours or tested positive for covid within the last 5 days please call the salon so that we can make adjustments or accommodations for your appointment.
If you’re running more than 5 minutes behind please call and let the front desk know.
Safe space
Creating a safe and comfortable environment for all of our clients is top priority, we prioritized making our clients feel welcome and accepted in an often-intolerant world. We are a zero tolerance salon when it comes to any form of hate speech, racism, bigotry or bullying. EVERYONE deserves to feel at home and able to be their true selves at Poppy&Rod. We proudly partner with Dresscode Project to increase visibility to our LGBTQ2S+ community in Louisville as a safer space providing gender affirming hair care services.
Cancellation policy
Appointments must be cancelled 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment .
Weekday appointments cancelled within 24 hours of the appointment result in 50% of the service cost fee charged to the client.
Saturday appointments cancelled within 24 hours of the appointment result in 100% of the service fee charged to the client.
If you are sick or need to cancel due to emergency please call the front desk so accommodations and exceptions can be made for the cancellation policy.
Arrival any later than 15 minutes after your scheduled appointment time risks your appointment being cancelled and cancellation fee charged at the discretion of your stylist and management.
Your stylist and management has discretion on waiving the cancellation fee or applying it to future appointments.
Stylists are also held accountable for late cancellations outside of illness or emergency and clients are compensated through product or discount for a late notice of cancellations.
